Job OpeningPosition: Fiction Marketing Intern, Bethany House Publishers, Revell, and HavenDepartment: Fiction MarketingReports to: Marketing DirectorPosition Type: Paid InternshipLocation: Baker Publishing Group, Bloomington MN (preferred) Position Objective:Baker Publishing Group is accepting applications for a part-time fiction marketing intern for Bethany House Publishers, Revell, and Haven. Bethany House seeks to uplift readers' families, faith, and free time with our library of industry-leading Christian fiction. Revell publishes inspiring novels from a Christian perspective with readers that reaffirm our faith, celebrate beauty in the world, and move us to love more deeply. Haven shares clean & wholesome stories to come home to-books that offer warmth, connection, and a welcoming escape from everyday life. The internship will focus on the fiction marketing aspects of publishing while providing some exposure to other departments, as well.Application Process:The application process requires a resume and a cover letter, outlining:a) Your observations on how Bookstagram, BookTok, BookTube, and/or influencers have impacted book trends and book buying.b) Why you are interested in working in publishingc) What you hope to learn from this internshipResponsibilities:Assist the Fiction Marketing Managers with campaign strategy and execution, including digital advertising, email marketing, social marketing, and retailer and distributor marketingCreate social videos, graphics, photography, and additional content for Instagram, TikTok, and FacebookPlacing orders and preparing product mailingsPerform influencer research, outreach, and influencer program supportPerform market and category researchGather analytics and reporting of marketing activitiesAttend marketing and publishing staff meetingsEvent supportOther duties as assigned by the fiction marketing teamQualifications:Must be available to work 20-25 hours/weekMust be available to work January to May 2027A passion for fiction publishingProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProficiency in social media platformsProficiency or ability to learn marketing tools like Asana, Canva, Sprout Social, and moreStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and the ability to work well with othersPreference will be given to those able to work one day a week at the office in Bloomington, Minnesota.Must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship programMust be over the age of 18Compensation and Benefits:This is a paid role.
