Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Location: Smyrna, TN 37167

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $14.14/hour

Schedule:

• Monday Sunday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to handle the hotel's daily laundry operations. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for processing, cleaning, folding, storing, and delivering linens while maintaining laundry equipment and keeping the laundry facility clean and organized.

• Collect, transport, sort, and weigh dirty linens and laundry.
• Load and unload washers, dryers, and laundry chutes.
• Wash and dry linens, towels, rags, and other laundry items as directed by management.
• Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts.
• Fold clean linens and towels and stock linen carts as required.
• Operate washing machines and dryers safely and properly.
• Clean dryer filters according to the designated checklist.
• Maintain laundry equipment as trained and report any equipment issues.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors and ensure all linens are stored off the floor.
• Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris.
• Stock and maintain linen closets throughout the hotel as needed.
• Keep all back-of-house laundry areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Replace and replenish cleaning chemicals as needed.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate commercial washing and drying equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing laundry carts.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
