Job Description

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its North Chicago laboratory to collect blood specimens, process patient information, and deliver customer service. The role involves evening and weekend shifts with opportunities for performance bonuses and career development.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information and process billing accurately and timely
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Three or more months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven exceptional customer service track record

Compensation: $17.75–$24.50 per hour, eligible for second shift differential and quarterly performance bonus
