Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing organization, for a Remote Data Entry Specialist based in New Jersey. Responsibilities

• Enter data accurately and efficiently into company databases and software systems
• Review and verify source documents for completeness and accuracy before entry
• Correct errors and discrepancies by researching and following up with the appropriate team members
• Update and maintain existing records to keep information current
• Organize and scan digital files and documents according to established procedures
• Generate basic reports and data summaries as requested
• Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets
• Protect confidential information and follow data security and privacy policies
• Communicate with team members by email and chat to clarify questions and share status updates

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute with a high level of accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, or Google Workspace
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good written communication skills
• Ability to manage time and work independently in a remote environment
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated workspace
• Prior data entry or administrative experience is helpful but not required
• Must reside in New Jersey and be authorized to work in the United States
